Unleashed Endurance Coaching was founded on the desire to encourage more women to participate in and succeed at running on both road and trail. There is a real shortage in the running community of female coaches who understand the training needs and constraints of their athletes. Historically, the science of running has been based on data gathered through studies involving 20-something males. Unleashed Endurance Coaching understands the unique needs of female road, trail and ultrarunners, and seeks to provide the most up-to-date, science and research-driven coaching available.
In 2020, an athlete-first, values-driven coaching company was born.
Unleashed Endurance Coaching founder, Jessica Creech, understands that effective communication is the cornerstone of quality in the coach-athlete relationship. Backed by years of science education, a UESCA certifications and real-world experience, Coach Jess believes that quality coaching is athlete-centered. Coach Jess's selfless coaching places the athlete first, knowing that Unleashed Endurance Coaching's success is not only based on the athletic goals achieved by their athletes, but also the well-being and individual confidence each athlete gains in the process. In addition to providing the highest level of scientific and analytical base to each training program, Unleashed Endurance makes it a priority to ensure that each athlete's well-being is just as strong.
What is your why?
Jess began her journey into running following the birth of her first child, and her transition to trail running and racing in 2013. Since then, she has worked with numerous aspiring trail runners, crewed and paced more than a dozen races, and gotten lost in the woods (happily!) too many times to count. Coach Jess has achieved numerous overall and age group wins in both road and trail running, including a 2nd place female overall at the Jackpot Running Festival 12-Hour race in 2016. She knows what it's like to juggle work, life and ultrarunning and has adopted UESCA's science-based training approach to help other athletes achieve their trail and ultrarunning goals without losing the love for running that brought them to the trails in the first place. Women are proving that they are highly competitive endurance athletes, and Coach Jess can help you crush your limits and unleash your potential ~ and have a blast while you're doing it! .
Jess has a Master's in Biology and an ASCP certification in Medical Laboratory Science. In addition to running, racing and coaching, she works full-time in a local hospital lab and is the mom of 2 young, energetic boys. She's also a military spouse who loves to travel, do all things outdoors, eat yummy food and spend time with her family. Jess has a 4-legged running partner named Miley who also loves trail running and often accompanies her on her runs.
