I’m a 43-year-old female runner who has been working with Coach Jess for two months now. I signed up with Coach Jess after coming off a rough winter filled with injuries and nearly no long runs—despite having run five half-marathons the previous year. In the past two months, my running and my overall fitness have evolved thanks to Coach Jess. I have run my first-ever speed workouts, hill repeats, and am finally back to having good long runs. Coach Jess develops a personalized training plan for me each week that includes my running workouts and cross training—including strength training. She has analyzed and corrected my gait, paced me through my fastest 5k, and kept me motivated and injury-free, which is no small feat.
